Feedback from 2026 survey:
Need to consider how we can accommodate all levels of play. Mondays and Wednesdays are no longer supported by our better players because it’s frustrating to either not get a game or to play a gentle game. I understand it’s all part of the “social aspect” and the process of learning but 1. It’s put good players off coming and 2. It stagnates progress for good players to get better.
Committee: We agree that this area needs to be improved and we have tried a few things, gender doubles for 1hr and mixed doubles for 1hr, ensuring matches are mixed appropriately using an app or session leader managing the mix. Ideally we would have another session, say on a Thursday at Largs. The committee would certainly like to offer more begginer sessions, coaching sessions, over 60s nights, ball machine, etc etc but with only two sessions we are limited. Any suggestions welcome.
None as I am on the Committee
Doing a great job, keep it up 😀
They are doing a good job overall. Would like if possible for purple lines to be added in Glengarnock too.
Committee, hopefully KA Leisure will see the benefit and add these.
Understand that venues are awkward but would love a day session somehow.
Committee, totally agree! Any suggestions on available venues welcome.
Nothing. I pay, I attend, well organised (usually lol) so no complaints.
I appreciate the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
Very well run
Feedback on coaching, 2026:
These will be passed to Liz and Janice

Their coaching is excellent - very structured & they comment constructively on individuals’ play.
Enjoyed the coaching session I attended. Only down side was it was held on a Wednesday which I can’t always commit to. More variety of days would be good.
Learned a lot
More advanced positioning
They are a good fit for the Club and their instructions and demos are easy to follow. They are very supportive and the sessions are enjoyable.
Enjoyed coaching and found Luz and Janice eay to get on with
It’s very good and progress is evident in play following the coaching sessions
None. Only participated once.
Excellent coaching but I feel they need to stress that when we play we put into practise what they teach us as it is like short tennis a lot of the time not PB .
Enjoyed these sessions
Coaching by them was excellent
I was not able to attend coaching as it was always on a Wednesday evening
Committee, unfortunately this was their only evening slot they had available.
Great, particularly when the sessions built on previous sessions.
Would be good to have the opportunity for coaching on different days so everyone has the opportunity
Committee, unfortunately this was their only evening slot they had available. Gordon McKinstry and Jocelyn Stirrat are currently working towards their PBS Club Coach award, hopefully we can offer more coaching once they have completed the training.
